Guys, I know this is a bit odd but hey, what have I got to loose?
I fell in love with this truck but it is far from complete.
Watch the video and you will see why, its just beautiful this old truck!
Two biggest problem, it does not have the original engine and engine sound, it uses a modern Volvo engine. Second biggest problem, you cannot haul in this thing. It can only be driven.
So, if theres any modders out there who are willing to take this task on (Cause it sure doesnt look like Kraen will, he seems to have abandoned this one)

In its current version tho, you can only drive it as it is incapable of towing or hauling any trailers. Interior and exterior are almost complete but it is missing its original engine and transmission (currently uses modern volvos) But it is a fantastic piece of history that deserves a place among our truck mods.
I dont know what Kraens plans for this truck is but I have noticed that it is increasingly difficult to find even a working download link for this wonderful flatbed.
Jie Fang, meaning Liberation, is a commercial vehicle brand of First Automobile Works, FAW. The CA-10 was their very first truck, production started in 1956 and continued to 1986, reaching a total of almost 1,3 million examples built!
CA-10 was based on the Soviet ZIS-150 which again was based on the american International KR-11. It is (or was) powered by a 5,6 litre ZIS-159 I6 diesel engine producing some 90BHP and had a five speed transmission. Top speed was 65 km/t.
The Jiefang CA-10 was primarily a military truck for the Peoples Liberation Army but the factory also produced civilian variants includingambulances, fuel trucks, water tankers, dump trucks, lift trucks and other construction vehicles.
